Me: I hate having a period. It sucks the uterine lining right out of me.

jj: Rolls his eyes and tells me to turn on the movie.

    He only rolls his eyes because he doesn't know how much it sucks to have uterine lining removed each month.

    My husband and I just had a conversation about this sort of thing a couple of weeks ago. I guess I'm lucky in that "it" isn't a big deal from me, and I can't say that I mind too terribly.

    It gets me a few days off. For that, I'll be happy.
